(EDIT) I no longer use the Twitter @Anywhere Service. The API is very unstable and causes problems with the smooth operation of this website. It also has a bug that Twitter will not acknowledge that effects embedded font delivery systems.

Twitter’s @anywhere api makes it easy to integrate @Twitter in to your website or blog.

To generate a hovercard use the @ symbol followed by the Twitter username. Here is mine @chris_olbekson.
